Electroguy and Man in Black

Two very different views of cycling today. First, we have an electrobike (I think that was the name stenciled on the battery). An odd looking contraption, but it proved to be remarkably fast - especially up hills. This bloke only turned the cranks every now and again. Looks like a mother of a battery though.

Then we have the Man in Black. This is the direct opposite of how I dress. I like the thought of being visible from an orbiting space shuttle. The idea of wearing a black shirt, black gloves, black socks and carrying a black backpack is as alien to me as the concept of drinking a soy latte. Sure, you might look cool and speedy, but that is of no comfort when you are lying under the front wheels of the bus that failed to see you.
